The focus of Dietrich School District is to proved the best possible educational experiences for our students and staff by maximicing available resources. The District office operates under the priorities and budget set forth by the school board and makes key financial decisions using four main principles.:

• Operate year to year with a balanced budget
• match reoccurring revenue with reoccurring expenditures.
• Have adequate reserves to meet unanticipated emergencies.
• Prepare a budget based on current economic and historical trends of local growth and programming needs.
